He was asked to accept a commission—from Fred Turner (VI '57)—to use them to create a line-art rendition of 'our' VI building. It was to be presented at the 50th Reunion of the Class of 1957.
During the reunion the professional framed original was put on display by Barbara Shickle Nowak (VI '57). At the Saturday banquet the original was awarded to John Smith (VI- k to 12) — via a random drawing. Prior to framing, a professional art reproduction studio made a limited print-run. It was produced on high quality art stock, 11˝" x 16". The artist then proofed, numbered and signed a Limited Edition of 250. There are no plans to ever do a second edition. The prints were available during the reunion and many asked classmates to sign them — as a keepsake of their 50th Reunion.
