| Alas, our mascot, the Lion of Judah, hasn't fared so well. After years indoors at VI, his second career found him out in the elements standing guard at the entrance to the Italian American Club on Washington Avenue Extension. The years have taken their toll. What else can we say. | |
| Now here are some hardy classmates. The date is 14 November, the temperature is 41, and they are getting ready for a round of golf at Capital Hills. From left to right: Jim McMahon, Martin Strnad, and Bob Pohl. Bet they were glad to get around to the nineteenth hole! | |
 | Living even closer to the "edge", Bill Webster gets ready to defy gravity in his homebuilt glider. Date is 13 October. Bill reports a good flight, over an hour in duration, enjoying the fall scenery near Mount Greylock. Yes, he wears a parachute, just in case...... |
When I'm not teachin' and preachin', I'm walking a couple blocks to the beach (under a big hat, of course) and enjoying the sunny Southern California vibe. Life is good! Guacamole, anyone?
