Dear Friend in the VI Class of 1969

Thank you so much for your generous October donation of $955 to the Food Pantry. We very much appreciate your generosity to the hungry; a special thanks to Re. Kirwin for requesting the donation at the Reunion Mass and to Pat for delivering the contibution.

Because of kind supporters like you, we were able to serve a totla of 235 households in October (201 children, 341 adults, and 83 seniors, for a total of 625 served).

We so appreciate all your efforts to assist the hungry.
Best wishes to all the members of the class of 1969.

Greatfully,
Nancy Calkins
Pantry Director

I just want to join with all the other classmates who have already thanked the reunion committee for their hard and successful work - had a great time and was glad I attended. We are enjoying the cd's and was surprised at what great shape the grotto was in.
PS- The author of the poem (confirmed at the reunion) was Chris Roman.

Many thanks to the Reunion Committee for the great job. Special thanks to Jimmy Rocco and Spare Parts and to those who made the CDs of '65-'69 music. My 17-year-old daughter and I were listening to the CDs today. She was amazed that so much music she knows and likes came from those few years.

The reunion was a blast! It was wonderful to see so many people with whom we have shared our youth; persons that will be forever part of us. There are no words to express the joy I felt at being able to turn back the clock for just a short while and go back to those carefree days when youth, promise, and good friends sustained us. I hope that we can reunite soon. My love and bestwishes to each and every one of you. Thank you all for working so hard at planning this great event. It was memorable.

  Father John Kirwin:
please convey my thanks to your classmates for the wonderful gifts of Sr. Marion Charlene's works and their gifts to St. Vincent's food pantry. I hope the other two days of the reunion were as nice as Sunday's celebration. Don't know if I'll be up and around for your fiftieth, but if so I'll be glad to join you! Peace and thanks, fr. k.

The weekend was, with the exception of the weather, SUPERB!! I was honoured that so many people remembered me, and that I was able to finally reconnect with so many people who were so very important in my early teens. Cindy and I wish to say THANK YOU to the organizing committee, who really worked their tails off to make this weekend happen. It certainly was worth the long drive from home in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. I'm already looking forward to the next reunion!

Can anyone give the correct answer regarding who wrote the following poem? (hint - the person's name appears elsewhere in these posts)

Wilderness
In here the leaf wears ancient green
It donned upon that ancient morn
When starlight reached this sylvan scene,
When just the pulse of time was born . . .

In here a brook still stirs the sands
While sunlight chimes its golden note,
And trees raise high their praying hands
As once a better poet wrote . . .

For time was caught here as it ran
Along the track of God and man.

  Hi Everyone,

As a group, the reunion committeee decided that we should not put on the website who is attending the reunion. We feel as though that we cannot put those names on without their permission. However, in a few days I will have a better handle who will be coming and anyone can contact me. The committee has worked very hard putting this all together and a list of the committee members will soon be put on this website. Hope to see as many of you at the reunion weekend.
